TAJ
Productions provides Auslan students and those who want to learn to sign the
perfect opportunity to communicate with Deaf people in a a stress-free
environment where you will be able to learn and improve your Auslan skills at
your own level.
For advanced students, this is a Voice Off Weekend (that is your VOW) - for
beginners, classes and select times will be "voice off" - as this is the best
(and most challenging way) to improve your sign language receptive skills.
The weekends
also give students an opportunity to get to know Deaf participants.
Activities include ice-breakers; hand shapes games; team-building;
story-telling; Auslan, Conversational, Deaf Culture and Fingerspelling classes;
board games; treasure hunt; sign-singing; charades; and a few
surprises…
We hope to see you at the
next VOW
retreat to
be held in
Queensland in 2006.
